No Dogs on the Highbury Playing Field

This week a serious incident occurred in the Highbury Playing Field when a loose dog knocked a 6 year old child to the ground and barked at them. The people who were walking the dog witnessed this and told the child to run to the fenced play area, which they did, but the dog continued to bark and intimidate the child. This child was terrified but was incredibly lucky not to be injured.

The Parish Council wants to stress that NO dogs should be on the Highbury playing field. Any dogs accessing the footpath at the top of the field via Orchard Close should be kept on a lead at all time.

Charmborough Lane Litter Pick

Coleford Parish Council would like to say a huge thank you to those that took time out of their Saturday to help with the litter pick of Charmborough Lane.

The lane is so busy and narrow in places that we could not of completed it, without the help of the local quarry who closed the road for the duration to allow safe access.

We collected a large volume of rubbish and would love to think that it would now stay litter free - we can live in hope.

Thanks to all those involved.
